With over 25 years experience as a working and touring drummer, I’ve played around the world with some incredible musicians in some of the finest venues and studios out there. I’m a firm believer that drumming has to be fun, and if you enjoy what you do, you’ll really excel! I’ve had the best time learning and playing music both as a child and grown up, and it’s something I have a real passion for in nurturing current and future players.

No need to stress about ability or experience levels—just bring your passion (and sticks, of course!). With a range of lesson styles available, which can be in my dedicated drum studio or remotely online. There isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ approach to drum tuition, therefore I can adopt my lesson approach to the requirements of the student. Whether you’re looking to learn to play the drums from the very beginning, or if you’re at a competent level and looking for consultancy and mentoring to improve certain aspects of your playing, I can tailor our lessons to reach those individual goals. Sometimes it’s not all about learning from a playing aspect, but advice on equipment, how to approach recording in studios and overcoming anxieties when playing live in front of a crowd. These are all very important aspects of being a musician, and something I can help with.
